Young forward Joe Grey is currently the only slight doubt ahead of Saturday’s match at Victoria Park (3pm kick-off).

The 17-year-old sat out training at East Durham College on Thursday morning after picking up a slight ‘niggle’ during Tuesday’s session.

Last week, a Pools player tested positive for coronavirus in what the club claimed was an isolated incident.

Despite this, manager Dave Challinor is expecting to have everyone available for selection this weekend.

“At the moment, everyone is available,” he told The Mail.

“Only Joe Grey won’t train with us today [Thursday] because of a little niggle he picked up doing a shooting session. Aside from that, everyone is ready for Saturday.”

One person who isn’t expected to feature on the bench for Pools this weekend is Challinor himself. The Hartlepool manager will serve the first of his three-game touchline ban.
