Hartlepool United manager Dave Challinor discusses 'horrible' coronavirus lockdown with team training cancelled
Last week saw Pools train at Victoria Park following the announcement of the National League’s fixture suspension but now players have been forced to train in isolation.
With seven games remaining of the current season and no clarity as to when or if those games will be played, Hartlepool manager Dave Challinor is frustrated with his inability to plan for the future.

“As a manager it’s difficult to plan because we have no idea when we’re going to play or when we’ll play again, when next season will start or how long pre-season will be.
“We’ve got a lot of things in place which will be guided when we might be coming back and who are opponents will be and how quickly we’ll be playing.
“There are lots of unanswered questions so at the minute there’s not a great deal I can do football-wise. It’s a strange one, it’s just a case of getting through the days which is a horrible way of living to be honest.

“It’s just about keeping things ticking over and not doing too much or too little.”
