Hartlepool United manager Dave Challinor on 2020-21 National League fixture release and what he'll be looking out for

Hartlepool United manager Dave Challinor has spoke of his excitement ahead of today’s National League fixture release.

At 1pm today (Tuesday, September 8), Pools will find out their fixtures for the upcoming 2020-21 National League season.

And after waiting six months since watching his side last play a competitive game, Challinor is eager to get going once again.

"Fixture day is always an exciting day but I think it’s different and more attention will be paid to it than usual this season just because of the circumstances that surround it,” Challinor told The Mail.

“And with the amount of Tuesday night games there will be, everyone will be looking and seeing where their long Tuesday night games will be and things like that.

“It’s an exciting day and once fixtures come out then it becomes a bit more real in terms of where we’re at and planning can start to being ahead of the new season.”
