Midfielder Gavan Holohan has picked up four bookings so far this campaign and will face a one game suspension should he pick up another yellow card in the coming weeks.

The 29-year-old has started all 16 games in the National League for Pools so far this season, scoring three goals. The Irishman’s two goals in the FA Cup and FA Trophy make him Pools’ joint top scorer in all competitions alongside Luke Armstrong.

The cut off point for five yellow cards comes after 23 league games, giving Holohan seven more matches to avoid a one match suspension.
