Keith Curle’s side saw plenty of the ball, and created one or two half chances with Mohamad Sylla hitting the post and Josh Umerah going close, but would, ultimately, fall short.
Ryan Leak converted Elliott Watt’s corner midway through the first half before Ethan Galbraith sealed the points in stunning style deep into stoppage time to leave Pools bottom of the table.
And here is how Pools were rated:
9. Callum Cooke - 6
Enjoyed a bright first half showing plenty of confidence in his range of passing - particularly out to Oduor. Another who tired a little in the second half becoming less ineffective. (Credit: Mark Fletcher | MI News) Photo: Mark Fletcher
10. Theo Robinson - 5
Won the majority of what was angled up to him but not enough of it in threatening areas. One or two half chances including header from Featherstone corner. Subbed. (Credit: Mark Fletcher | MI News) Photo: Mark Fletcher
11. Josh Umerah - 6
Two good opportunities in the first half, one dragged well wide with the other clipping the outside of the post. (Credit: Mark Fletcher | MI News) Photo: Mark Fletcher
12. Wes McDonald - 6
Brought on on the hour to try and spark things again for Pools. One effort wide before decent cross to Tumilty. (Credit: Mark Fletcher | MI News) Photo: Mark Fletcher
