Here's how our Pools writer rated the players following a miserable evening in Northamptonshire - do you agree?

13. Adam Campbell: 4
Didn't look interested after coming on with 25 minutes of normal time remaining. Perhaps understandable given that he voiced his frustration with a recent lack of opportunities after scoring his first Pools goal to salvage a draw for his side at the weekend and then was left on the bench again. Will be hoping the next manager gives him the freedom to show Pools fans just how good he can be. Photo: Frank Reid

14. Greg Sloggett: 4
Game totally passed him by, albeit in difficult circumstances. Another one who will be eager for a fresh start following Sarll's departure. Photo: Frank Reid

15. Alfie Steel: n/a
A late substitution and a last throw of the dice from Sarll. Didn't have enough time to make an impact but carries himself well. Photo: Michael McGeary / Hartlepool United Football Club
