Here's how our Pools writer rated the players following Saturday's draw with Brackley - do you agree?

13. Nicky Featherstone: 7
Should have been in the side from the start but controlled the midfield excellently after he replaced Sloggett less than 10 minutes into the second half. A few bits of intricate play in the final third and combined well with Mathurin on a couple of occasions. One important defensive intervention when he got his toe to the ball to stop a counter-attack. Hard to remember him giving the ball away. Photo: Frank Reid

14. Roshaun Mathurin: 7
A really lively cameo. His first thought seemed always to be to take on his man or cross for Dieseruvwe and he caused the visitors lots of problems. His first touch let him down in a promising position at the back post following Joe Grey's cross but he had an important hand in the goal, turning the tiring Scott Pollock before sliding the ball in for Dieseruvwe, whose strike was then parried into Campbell's path. 15. Adam Campbell: 8
Looked like he had something to prove and his willingness to come short and show for the ball encouraged more patient and purposeful build-up play from Pools. Lashed home a late equaliser, his first Pools goal in his 12th game. Still had plenty to do after Dieservuwe's initial effort rebounded in his direction but his first time finish gave Maxted no chance. Photo: FRANK REID 2024
