Frustrated with Ebbsfleet's equaliser last time out. Zach Hemming's return to Middlesbrough means the Pools number 1 will remain in between the sticks for the forseeable future.
Been ever present in the side since gameweek three. Been a consistent performer so far just needs to step things up a level and show more confidence in his ability to really flourish down the left side.
Had a disappointing second half at Ebbsfleet but Challinor has hinted that he's reluctant to change things massively this weekend. With the likes of Aaron Cunningham and Myles Anderson fit and keen to get back in the starting line-up, he'll have to be back to his best this afternoon.
Been dominant at the back for the most part in recent weeks and should maintain his place as he has all season.
Had his role tweaked slightly under Dave Challinor but continues to impress at right-back.
Pools ever present Mr. Consistent. Getting into some decent attacking areas in recent weeks so will be hoping to get on the scoresheet once again.
Was enjoying a great run of form but hasn't been able to impact the last two matches as much as he would have liked under Dave Challinor. Today's home match gives him another chance to impress.
A player who was getting harshly dropped from the side at the start of the season is now one of the first names on the teamsheet after netting six in his last eight matches in all competitions.
Will be keen to show the Victoria Park crowd what he can do after an impressive couple of weeks on the road.
Another who has enjoyed a decent goalscoring return under new management and is expected to lead the line once again this afternoon.
The Pools skipper has been quieter in recent weeks with the likes of James, Kabamba and Holohan getting the majority of the attention and praise but he continues to play an important and versatile role in the side.
Pools' top scorer will be hoping to get back into the starting line-up sooner rather than later following a return from his hand injury.
Needs a decent run of games in the side but it's difficult to break into a competitive and consistent Pools midfield.
Restricted game time in recent weeks but always a quality option to have on the bench, one of several for Pools.
Another good attacking option to have on the bench but will need to take his chance when called upon after finding first team opportunities hard to come by over the past couple of months. Recently been made available for a short term loan move.
Pools have plenty of defensive options to choose from with Kenton Richardson, Myles Anderson and Romoney Crichlow-Noble all vying for a place in the matchday squad. A difficult call for Challinor but Cunningham's early season form when in the side should see him given the nod.
