Here's how our Pools writer expects Darren Sarll's side to line up on Saturday - do you agree?

5. Left-back: David Ferguson
Was given the runaround by the lively Ben Chapman at Ebbsfleet and has been the subject of considerable criticism in recent weeks. Even so, remains a Pools stalwart who is often underappreciated and will want to get back to his best at the weekend. The signing of versatile Charlton loanee Nathan Asiimwe gives Pools another option but Ferguson should remain the man for now. Photo: Frank Reid

6. Central-midfield: Nicky Featherstone
Been a bit unfortunate not to start either of the last two games when Pools have been crying out for his consummate calmness and control in the engine room. Sarll's midfielders have rather cancelled each other out in recent weeks but Featherstone should provide a much-needed point of difference for a Pools side who have struggled to make an impact in possession of late. 7. Central-midfield: Nathan Sheron
Arguably the most impressive of Sarll's summer signings so far this season and certainly the most consistent performer in midfield. Was pretty good again in difficult circumstances at Ebbsfleet and will have an important role to play if Pools are to stifle Dagenham's considerable creativity. Photo: Frank Reid

8. Central-midfield: Darren Robinson
Hard to confidently call the precise make-up of the Pools midfield after Sarll confirmed that both Greg Sloggett and Jack Hunter had missed training so far this week. The boss could stick with two in midfield and start Anthony Mancini again but the Frenchman's limited influence last week combined with the fact Pools will have less running power following Featherstone's welcome return might compel Sarll to turn to Robinson. The teenager has had a very limited influence since arriving in the North East and hasn't featured since last month's defeat at Woking, albeit he was unavailable for a couple of games while on international duty. Is very highly rated at parent club Derby and now would be the perfect time to show Poolies what he can do. Photo: Hartlepool United Football Club
