Midfielder Nicky Featherstone ended his seventh season at Pools with promotion back to the Football League and was rewarded with a new two year contract which has now been signed and confirmed by the club.

Veteran defender Gary Liddle also agreed a new one-year deal at Victoria Park after an impressive campaign at the back.

Rhys Oates and Jamie Sterry next to keep the nucleus of the side together.”

@HUST_1908: “Completely trust Challinor but boy do we feel better now! Really important to keep Liddle and build from there. Great work!”

@_CJenkins: “Two years [for Featherstone]. The man who’s stuck with us since we got relegated, deserves it now we’re back.”

@TMHG91: “Wolfpack! Wolfpack! Wolfpack!”

@_daninicolex: “[Featherstone] most important signing for me. Stayed with us through the bad times and the good, took pay cuts along the way and helped us get back to where we belong.”

@turner_1908: “Massive getting these 2 tied down.”
