Hartlepool United swoop to sign Sheffield United striker
Pools boss Dave Challinor has been looking to bolster his striking options and he has high hopes for the 20-year-old youth international.
Parkhouse will go straight into training with the rest of the Pools squad but will not be involved in tomorrow night’s fixture at Morpeth.
Challinor said: “We are delighted to get David in.

The Northern Ireland youth international striker has yet to make a first-team appearance for the Blades but has just returned from international duty where he scored in a Euro qualifier against Malta U21s.
Before lockdown, Parkhouse was on loan at League Two side Stevenage but that was cut short due to the season ending early as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
During the 2018-19 season he had a loan spell with Derry City, there he scored 19 goals in 39 appearances for the League of Ireland Premier Division side.
