Dave Challinor’s side have not had much luck with televised games so far this season as they were beaten 5-0 by Torquay United in front of the BT Sport cameras at The Vic back in October.

They then faced Eastleigh at The Silverlake Stadium in November but that game was abandoned at half-time due to a waterlogged pitch.

The rescheduled fixture against The Spitfires is set to take place on Tuesday, February 16 (7:45pm kick-off).

But with the National League and DCMS failing to provide adequate financial support to clubs, Pools can only hope they’ll get the opportunity to play these matches.
