Hartlepool United boss Ronnie Moore makes 10th signing in ex-Birmingham keeper Peter Denton
Pools this morning announced the arrival of Peter Denton, who was released by Rotherham United at the end of last season.
The 18-year-old becomes the third keeper to join Pools, following new number one Trevor Carson and ex-Gateshead stopper Adam Bartlett who joined on Friday.

Denton has played at youth level for both Birmingham City and the Millers and Moore had no hesitation signing him.
“Peter is only 18 and he’s a prospect,” Moore told SportMail.
“He was released by Rotherham but I know Andy Dibble really well and he comes highly recommended.

“It will be non-league he goes to. A league club won’t take him, he’s 18 and never had a game.
“He needs to get into the rough and tumble of non league, he needs grown-up football not Under 18 games.
“We see him as may be being number one here one day.”
