Hide AdHe has made four starts and three sub appearances for Pools so far this campaign but given the arrival of several new faces at Victoria Park, boss Ronnie Moore has allowed him to go out on loan to get some game-time.
Hawkins featured twice last month under Moore, coming on as a sub for the last 20 minutes at high-fliers Wycombe and Shrewsbury.
But his appearance at Adams Park ended with a red card
Hawkins joins a Spenny side who are in a good position in the Evo-Stik table.
They are sixth and while they are 12 points behind leaders Salford City, they do have five games in hand.
