Pools will have their traditional blue as their primary colour but the white stripes have been replaced with a white diagonal band.

Striker Scott Fenwick and left-sided new signing Jake Carroll were at Victoria Park to show off the new Nike strip, which will have the customary blue shorts and white socks.

“The design is top notch,” said Fenwick, who finished last season as the club’s top League Two scorer.

“It’s completely different in the respect that there are no stripes.

“It’s a big change for Hartlepool but I like it.

“I think it’s a modern look strip, pleasing on the eye and nice on the eye.”

There is a new era with Seneca Homes now on the front of the jersey following numerous seasons of Dove Energy, one of the companies associated with former owners Increased Oil Recovery and Norwegian oil magnate Berge Larsen.

The new sponsor will be joined by an old, familiar name, Camerons Brewery, who will have the famous red lion on the shoulder.
