The striker is “feeling his hamstring” according to boss Ronnie Moore.

Bingham has started every Pools game to date and while he has not hit the net since the opening sday of the season, has remained lively up front.

But with a 335-mile journey to Somerset approaching tomorrow, Moore and head physio Ian Gallagher may decide it’s a risk not worth taking.

“Rakish is feeling his hamstring – it’s a little bit tight,” said Moore.

“We’ll leave him until the last minute because with a hamstring problem it’s sometimes not worth taking a risk with.

“And you don’t want to be taking him down there for five hours on the bus and five hours back.

“We will have a real good look at him and if he misses this one, then he should be OK for Tuesday [against Bristol Rovers].”
