Hartlepool United's first BT Sport televised fixtures announced

BT Sport have confirmed Hartlepool United’s first two National League televised matches will be against newly promoted sides Woking and Stockport County.

The Super 6 Stadium will host BT Sport action this September.

The Woking match at the Super 6 Stadium will take place on Saturday, September 7 with kick-off being pushed back to 7:30pm. Pools will then travel to face National League North champions Stockport on Wednesday, October 9 (7:45pm kick-off).

BT Sport announced their first round of televised fixtures shortly after the National League fixture announcement on Wednesday.

National League South play-off winners Woking will have to make a 550 mile round trip up to Hartlepool for the late weekend kick-off in a rescheduling that is sure to frustrate Cards fans.

Hartlepool open their National League season at home to Sutton United on August 3 before visiting Halifax Town the following Tuesday in what will be a busy start to the season for Craig Hignett’s side.
