Around a dozen sides are currently competing for a top seven place going into the final six weeks of the season with the likes of Pools, Sutton United, Torquay and Stockport all fancying their chances of securing the National League title and the division’s only automatic promotion spot.
But with games in hand still likely to play an important role in the final run of matches, ‘data experts’ at FWP have put together a predicted National League table to provide an estimate to how the final standings could look come the end of May.

. Dover Athletic - 23rd

. King's Lynn Town - 21st

Alty have enjoyed a solid first season back in the fifth tier but are predicted to run out of steam going into the business end of the campaign with nine points from their final eight games according to the 'data experts, finishing the season on 50 points with -6 goal difference and 43 goals scored. 21. Torquay United - 3rd

22. Stockport County - 2nd
The Hatters currently sit fourth in the table, five points adrift of Torquay in third. But the 'data experts' are predicted a strong end to the season for Stockport with 23 points from their final nine games to take them up to second on 81 points. Photo: Pete Norton
23. Sutton United - 1st
Sutton may currently be without a win in four games but the 'data experts' are predicting them to have a miraculous end to the season, taking 23 points from their final 10 games to finish as champions on 86 points. Let's see how things actually pan out come May 29... Photo: Mark Trowbridge
