Our Pools writer is backing Darren Sarll to make changes for the midweek visit of Rochdale - do you agree?

5. Left-back: Tom Parkes
Darren Sarll will be scratching his head as to how best to deal with David Ferguson's suspension after his only recognised left-back was sent off at the weekend. He could recall Louis Stephenson, who lined up on the left a couple of times in pre-season, from his loan at Blyth, or he could put his faith in new man Nathan Asiimwe, who started on the right wing on Saturday but can play in both full-back positions. He might also be tempted to change shape and go with three centre-halves and wing-backs, which certainly seems like a possibility. However, Parkes is by far his most experienced option and also the only other natural left-footer he can call on to add balance to the side. Might not offer much going forward, but would certainly complete a powerful back line that would be difficult to break down. Photo: Frank Reid

6. Right-wing: Joe Grey
Didn't look especially well suited to the more central role he lined up in on Saturday and Pools missed his drive and determination on the flank. Was under the weather last week and has played a lot of football already this season but a right side of Grey and Dodds would surely give most National League left-backs a real run for their money. 7. Central-midfield: Nathan Sheron
Is fast becoming Sarll's Mr Reliable and has played all 10 games so far this season. If Pools are indeed going to go with just two central-midfielders, then his industry and tenacity means he must be one of them. Photo: Frank Reid

8. Central-midfield: Greg Sloggett
Sarll has so far this season proven reluctant to start Nicky Featherstone in back-to-back games, especially if a Saturday fixture is followed by a midweek match. Another impressive showing from the veteran, who turned 36 on Sunday, means he must be under consideration, while Jack Hunter will be working hard to shake off a recent injury. However, Sarll could turn to the recently returned Greg Sloggett, who offers more in terms of running power and goal threat than Featherstone. After an impressive start, injuries have slightly derailed the Irishman's progress but he'll be desperate to show fans what he can do. Photo: Frank Reid
