Pools currently sit third in the National League table and are in favour of continuing with the National League season after clubs received resolution voting documents earlier this week.

“You can’t affect what players do away from games and the training ground,” he said.
“They’re sensible enough, the world we’re in now means that social media is the quickest and biggest information gatherer at the moment.
"You can find out things quicker there than what happens in real life.

"We also have six of them living together so I’m sure they have discussed it with each other.
“We’ve not got that as an excuse and the minimum for us is that in the 28 day period, where we have seven games, we win as many games as we can so we’re in a really good place in the table.”
He added: "That way, if the vote decides to carry on as we hope will be the case then we’re in a great position.

"We can’t waste energy and worry about things that, in the main, are out of our control.”
