Dave Challinor taking the positives from Hartlepool United's disappointing 2-2 draw at Ebbsfleet United
For the second time in as many National League away matches, Pools have led 2-0 before being pegged back to a 2-2 draw.
And it’s something Challinor wants to put right quickly ahead of his first full week on the training ground.

“You analyse it and I don’t think the players were overconfident but it has to be a learning environment so we have to look at ourselves. It’s happened twice now in the last month in two away games.
“You could look at the decisive moments in the Notts County game too with the chances at 2-0.
“Similar things have happened and we need to learn from that because we can’t keep shooting ourselves in the foot, if we do then ultimately over the course of the season it will cost us too many points and we won’t become the team we want to be by being successful and getting out of this league.

“The players deserve their day off on Monday but we’ll have a good week training next week before we can hopefully go and show our home supporters that we’re moving forward and looking to pick up three points against Boreham Wood.”
