Friday’s grey weather didn’t stop Hartlepool being transformed into a blue and white paradise as the promotion parade rolled through town.

An open-top bus tour celebrated Hartlepool United’s return to the football league following the team’s victory against Torquay.

Fans of all ages turned out to show their support for the lads, armed with face paint, flags and football tops to ensure the Poolie pride was in full flow.
