Hartlepool remain winless at home since the opening day of the season after a 2-1 defeat by Boreham Wood at Victoria Park.
Dave Challinor’s side dropped to 14th in the National League table after two goals from their former midfielder Gus Mafuta either side of Mason Bloomfield’s equaliser on the stroke of half-time.
It means Pools have suffered back-to-back defeats following Tuesday’s 2-0 loss at Solihull Moors.
