5. Macauley Southam-Hales - 5
Will be frustrated by the second goal as he failed to deal with the bouncing ball inside the penalty area. Was otherwise fairly solid. | JPIMedia Resell Photo: Frank Reid
6. Mark Shelton - 7
Got into some good areas to put threatening balls across the face of goal as he proved to be Pools’ biggest influence going forward. Made a great goal line clearance with the score at 1-0. | Other 3rd Party Photo: Mark Fletcher
7. Nicky Featherstone - 6
Was tidy in possession but just couldn’t get control of the midfield, especially after the side went down to 10 men. | JPIMedia Resell Photo: Frank Reid
8. Gavan Holohan - 4
Was having a reasonable game but two daft challenges made things difficult for Pools following his sending off. Held his hands up afterwards and apologised. | JPIMedia Resell Photo: Frank Reid
