Pools, like all of their rival National League clubs, have a number of big decisions to make when it comes to renewing contracts for next season. Although, at this stage, the club are in a state of limbo while takeover negotiations continue, Pools will be eager to get a number of their prize assets tied down as soon as possible. Here's a look at the decisions facing the club.

5. End of loans
Reyes Cleary, who scored six goals in 20 games during a blistering spell on loan from Championship side West Brom, has headed back to The Hawthorns. Teenager goalkeeper Darryl Ombang, who arrived on loan in March to provide cover for Adam Smith, has returned to Leeds. Photo: Frank Reid

6. Pools will want to keep
The club will, of course, be desperate to keep Mani Dieseruvwe, Joe Grey and Nathan Sheron, although at this stage there is a significant risk that all three could leave on a free this summer. Teenager Louis Stephenson should have done enough to earn a new deal despite a challenging season, while the club are likely to be keen to keep Billy Sass-Davies following his impressive form under Anthony Limbrick. 7. Decisions to be made
Pools could have decisions to make on the futures of David Ferguson, who admitted after the final day draw with Forest Green that he was yet to enter negotiations, Gary Madine, Jack Hunter, Luke Charman and Dan Dodds. All have made valuable contributions to Pools but could still face uncertain futures. That said, it would make sense to keep most or all of them. Photo: Frank Reid

8. Question marks over Anthony Mancini
Head coach Anthony Limbrick admitted that Pools would use the summer to evaluate the future of the mercurial Anthony Mancini. Although the Frenchman's talent is undeniable, he's endured another injury hit season and has played just three times since the turn of the year. Photo: Frank Reid
