Luke Armstrong’s loan move from Salford City to Hartlepool United has been formally ratified by the Football Association.

The 24-year-old is now eligible to play in Pools’ National League match at home to King’s Lynn Town this evening (7pm kick-off).

The Mail understands that Dave Challinor will name Armstrong in his starting line-up despite the striker not starting a competitive match since September.
