Marvin Johnson, Djed Spence and the injured Grant Hall have dropped out of the starting XI while Dael Fry, Marc Bola and Sam Morsy have come in.

Most fans were happy with the team selection, with some suggesting there may be a change of shape to a 4-3-3.

Others were confused as to why Hayden Coulson has been left out again despite the changes, while some pointed out Ashley Fletcher’s absence for the matchday squad for the second match running.

Here’s how some fans reacted to the team news:

@JosephW36068541: I like this starting lineup, giving Bola another chance is certainly not a bad thing. I'd like to see wood given the chance at the back, but I can't complain overall. When we get Roberts into this team it will be much better. Only complaint no Spene

@Oliverhh96: Coulson and Johnson on the bench? Baffling

@adam_jacques: I just don't understand what Warnock's beef is with Coulson.

@GaryDaw23426638: Disappointed 2 see no Coulson. Bola not good enough imo but I hope he proves me wrong. Good luck boys

@lewisyates20: Don’t mind the look of this side, looks like it could be a 4312 with tav in behind the strikers, feeling confident today !! Come on @Boro

@chrisrobson13: So even bola is preferred over coulson now???

@daveyballyXIIII: We got any updates on Fletcher injury ? We know he limped off a few games ago but wondered if it was a bad injury ?
