Former striker Jordan Hugill came back to haunt his former club with the winner, he actually injured himself in the process of scoring the only goal of the game.
Boro have now been beaten by Hull City and QPR in recent days and remain in deep relegation trouble with Neil Warnock not yet having the impact he would have liked after replacing Jonathan Woodgate in the dugout.
