Boro brought in goalkeeper Jordan Archer, Darnell Fisher, Yannick Bolasie, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Neeskens Kebano to bolster their squad as they push for a play-off place in the Championship.
The Teessiders have also welcomed back defender Grant Hall and striker Ashley Fletcher from injury – so who will start when everyone is fit and available?
Obviously there will be more injury setbacks before the end of the campaign, and Warnock will choose to alter his side and formation depending on the identity of the opposition.
Still, we’ve put together what we think could be Boro’s strongest starting XI, and substitutes bench, when everyone is fit.

2. RB: Anfernee Dijksteel
Has been missed in recent matches due to injury. The Dutchman has been excellent this season, performing well at right-back and as right-sided centre-back when Boro have switched to a back three. Photo: George Wood
3. CB: Paddy McNair
Played in midfield last season but has slotted into a centre-back role this campaign. The Northern Ireland international is comfortable on the ball and has the defensive qualities to play at the back. Photo: Alex Pantling

Endured a difficult 2019/20 season after returning from injury, but has been the commanding centre-back Boro have needed this campaign. Photo: Getty Images
