Darren Randolph's move from Middlesbrough to West Ham edging nearer after reports £4million fee agreed
Darren Randolph's move from Middlesbrough to West Ham looks to be edging nearer after reports a £4million fee has been agreed.
Sky Sports are reporting a fee was agreed on Monday for the transfer of the Republic of Ireland international with Randolph reported to be undergoing a medical today.
Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie tweeted: “Darren Randolph will have his West Ham medical this morning. The Hammers agreed a fee of £4m with Middlesbrough yesterday #MFC #Boro #WHU”
The Republic of Ireland international was named the club’s player of the year last term and also earned a place in the PFA Championship team of the season.
Yet Randolph’s proposed return to former club West Ham appears to be edging ever closer, with some reports suggesting a deal could be completed in the next 48 hours.
Jonathan Woodgate has remained coy on the possible move in recent days but it looks close to being agreed.
