Boro boss Neil Warnock has said he wants to get deals done early, and hopes to bring in eight or nine new players to bolster his squad.
The Teessiders have been assessing targets both in England and abroad, while Warnock has been in contact with players’ agents to try and negotiate deals.
Warnock will also be looking at players who are currently set to become free agents this summer, which includes over 150 players in the Championship.
Of course, only a few will meet the criteria of what Boro are looking for, while there are also several players at Premier League clubs who are nearing the end of their contracts.
We take a closer look at the top-flight players who could move on this summer – with some interesting names on the list.
