Middlesbrough held on to record a narrow 1-0 win over QPR at Loftus Road - but how did each player fare for Kim Hellberg’s side?
Will Lankshear scored the only goal of the game in the 20th minute, before Boro withstood some late pressure and Rangers winger Harvey Vale hit the post.

5. Neto Borges - 8
An excellent showing from the versatile defender. Started on the left of a back three and looked comfortable. Made one outstanding block to stop QPR forward Rumarn Burrell in the second half and another crucial intervention in stoppage time. 8 | Getty Images

6. Aidan Morris - 7
Was often available in front of Boro’s back four to receive the ball and help the side advance up the pitch. Had to work hard in the second half as Boro came under increased pressure. 7 | Getty Images

7. Sebastian Berhalter - 6
Delivered a few inviting crosses into the QPR box and played a fine lofted pass for Lankshear to run onto at the end of the first half. Was caught out a few times defensively on the transition. Replaced late on after injuring himself following a committed tackle. 6 | Getty Images

8. Max Arfsten - 6
Started as a left wing-back when Boro had the ball. Like Brittain, he took up some advanced positions in the first half. Helped out defensively in the closing stages as Boro saw the game out. 6 | Getty Images
