'Excited to see what he can do': Middlesbrough fans react to surprising Neil Warnock decision at Wycombe Wanderers

Boro were beaten 2-1 at Sheffield Wednesday last time out – a result which saw the Teessiders drop to ninth in the Championship.

Warnock has recalled Chuba Akpom and Marcus Tavernier to his starting XI, while Marcus Browne has been handed his first league start of the campaign.

Meanwhile Lewis Wing, Duncan Watmore and captain Britt Assombalonga have all dropped to the bench.

Boro fans were quick to react to the team news on social media – offering mixed views on Warnock’s selection decisions.
