Joe Nicholson's Middlesbrough player ratings: Three 8s for Neil Warnock's side against Huddersfield Town after Duncan Watmore and Ashley Fletcher goals
Middlesbrough claimed a much-needed 2-1 win over Huddersfield Town at the Riverside – but who stood out for Neil Warnock’s side?
After falling behind to an Isaac Mbenza free-kick inside nine minutes, an excellent strike from Duncan Watmore and an Ashley Fletcher penalty saw Boro take the lead before half-time.
Paddy McNair was then shown a late red card after a tackle on Huddersfield’s Juninho Bacuna.
