Jonathan Woodgate reacts to 'terrific signing' as Middlesbrough secure Ravel Morrison loan deal from Sheffield United
Ravel Morrison has completed his move from Sheffield United to Middlesbrough on loan until the end of the season.
The 26-year-old playmaker joined the Blades on a one-year deal in the summer but has made just one Premier League appearance since the switch.
Boro were keen to add another playmaker to their squad after Patrick Roberts suffered a hamstring injury in the 1-1 draw with Birmingham last time out.
Speaking to Boro’s official website, head coach Jonathan Woodgate said: “Ravel is a terrific signing for us. He is a real quality player with plenty of experience, and will give us something different to what we have.
“He has a desire to do well and succeed, and that attitude fits in with in well with our ethos here. I met him this week, we had a really good talk, and I think he we will be really good addition to our squad.”
