“Looked like a Premier League player”: What people are saying about Middlesbrough's Harold Moukoudi after Brentford defeat

Harold Moukoudi made his Middlesbrough debut against Brentford at Griffin Park.

Despite an unfortunate deflection off the defender for the Bees’ second goal, Boro boss Jonathan Woodgate was impressed by the Cameroon international.

When asked how he thought the 22-year-old played, Woodgate said: “Very well, he’s going to be a real player.

“He showed composure, very good on the ball, quick, strong. He’s going to be a very good player that kid. I’m pleased for him.”

Our Boro writer Joe Nicholson was also complimentary about Moukoudi, awarding him a 7/10 in his player ratings after the defender ‘marked Ollie Watkins out of the game for most of the afternoon.’
