Middlesbrough boss Neil Warnock reveals Djed Spence injury results and what's happened to former Charlton man Anfernee Dijksteel
Spence, 19, was forced off with a dead leg early in the second half during Boro’s 2-1 defeat at Hull on Thursday night, yet Warnock says the medical scans have been positive.

“It just depends on how uncomfortable it is if it’s just a dead leg.”
Spence’s injury forced Jonny Howson to move to right-back at the KCOM Stadium, and Warnock has admitted his squad is short of natural defenders.

Hide AdSummer signing Anfernee Dijksteel has been out since November with a knee injury, yet Warnock says the 23-year-old is back in training.
When asked about Dijksteel, Warnock replied: “He’s actually training, I had a word with him yesterday about how he felt because it’s a lot to ask someone who's been out like that to come straight back in.
“He’s training now fully with the squad so he just needs to get some ball fitness et cetera.”
