Middlesbrough FC transfer rumours: Boro and Sunderland in race for League One winger plus latest Kieffer Moore and Junior Hoilett reports
Neil Warnock has previously said he wants to make three or four more signings before the end of August, following the arrival of centre-back Grant Hall on a free transfer.
Since then, a host of players have been linked with a move to the Riverside in different positions following several first-team departures last season.

Hide AdThe latest name to be mentioned is that of Ipswich Town winger Gwion Edwards, with Football Insider claiming Boro and Luton Town have joined the race to sign the 27-year-old.
League One clubs Sunderland and Oxford have previously been linked with Edwards who has entered the final 12 months of his contract at Portman Road.
Yet the report has been met with some scepticism by local press in East Anglia, due to the recent introduction of League One salary caps.
Edwards is reportedly earning around £2,200 per week, with the East Anglian Daily Times claiming it will be hard to find a better replacement with similar wage demands.

The 25-year-old helped The Cobblers win promotion to League One via the play-offs last season and is said to be valued at around £1million.
Northampton manager Keith Curle has said the club don’t need to sell, yet, according to Sky Sports, Boro have made an improved offer for Goode after seeing a bid of £500,000 rejected.
Two other names which have been mentioned heavily over the last few days are those of Wigan striker Kieffer Moore and Cardiff City winger Junior Hoilett.

According to Teesside Live, Moore remains on Boro’s radar but isn’t top of the list, with the club pursuing other striker targets.
The same report also says the Teessiders haven’t made an approach for Hoilett despite reported interest.
