Randolph, 32, has been repeatedly linked with a return to the London Stadium in recent weeks, despite being sidelined with a thigh injury.

The Hammers are looking for back-up between the sticks to support first-choice keeper Lukasz Fabianski, while Bournemouth stopper Asmir Begovic has also been heavily linked.

When asked about Randolph in Friday’s press conference, Moyes said: "I think we are also talking with other keepers so it is not just Darren, there are other keepers in the pipeline.

"I couldn't confirm if it is him or not but I do know we are looking to add one."

Boro boss Jonathan Woodgate has said the Teessiders don’t need to sell their best players this month.

The 29-year-old is one of seven Boro players who will see their contract expire this summer, yet a new deal doesn’t appear forthcoming.

After a difficult start to his career on Teesside, Johnson has taken his chance to impress this season, making 22 Championship appearances.

But according to Sky Sports, Premier League outfit Bournemouth are one of several clubs monitoring Johnson.

The report claims the Cherries’ recruitment team will watch Johnson during Sunday’s FA Cup meeting against Tottenham.
