Discussing the fixtures, Warnock said: “We had a tough start with an away game against a newly relegated side last season and we’ve got one again this time at Fulham, but we’ll be better prepared this season than we were last.
“Every game is difficult when you look at the fixture list, but every game is winnable. I just can’t wait to enjoy the ride and I hope the fans are the same.”
“I can’t wait for that. I’ve said all along I can’t wait to see the Riverside with fans in once again. If you look at those four games after Fulham they’re all against teams who beat us last season so there’s something there to really whet the appetite isn’t there.”
“I look at the opening day, the first month, and then it’s the midweek games, QPR away on a Wednesday is the one that stands out because of the travelling and the fact we have a game on the Saturday after against Derby.”
