Middlesbrough race for ex-Ligue 1 striker among 17 deadline day deals that could go through today

The January transfer deadline day is finally here, and while there's unlikely to be many blockbuster moves going through in any division, there could well be a flurry of deals going through in the Championship - including a wealth of loan deals and free transfers.

As we wait for the latest deals to be confirmed, here's our rundown of the 17 biggest deals in the second-tier to look out for today, as Middlesbrough and their divisional rivals look to bring in some new signings before the window closes tonight.
