Middlesbrough are less than three weeks away from returning to Championship action as they host West Brom in their season opener.
Chris Wilder’s side will be eager to enjoy a successful campaigin after narrowly missing out on promotion in May and are continuing to delve into the market to improve their squad.
They have so far brought in Darragh Lenihan and Liam Roberts on frees, while Ryan Giles has joined from Wolves on loan.

Brentford are set to complete the signing of Hull City forward Keane Lewis-Potter, with the Tigers accepting an initial bid of £16m, plus £4m in add-ons. The 21-year-old was thought to be having a medical with the Premier League club today. (The Athletic)
