Middlesbrough transfer news: Boro's £17m defensive target and Aston Villa man up for grabs

Middlesbrough will look to bounce back from their FA Cup exit to Brentford this weekend, when they return to Championship action on Saturday afternoon and take on Birmingham City at the Riverside Stadium.
