The excitement of the new Championship campaign will take a big step forward next week for Middlesbrough fans with the release of the fixture list for the coming season. It has been confirmed by the EFL things will get underway on 12 September with the Carabao Cup scheduled to begin the previous week. Clubs will have to contend with THIRTEEN midweek fixture cards with the regular season finishing in the second week of May.
Preparations are continuing for Neil Warnock, with transfer moves being made or planned after the club missed out on the signing of Kiefer Moore to bolster the attack.

3. Ward's Cardiff exit all but confirmed
