Boro completed the signings of forward Yannick Bolasie and full-back Darnell Fisher last week and the pair gave the side a lift during Saturday’s goalless draw at Championship leaders Norwich.
Even so, Warnock is still keen to bolster his side’s attacking options if the right deal becomes available, while the Boro boss has also admitted one or two players may be allowed to leave the Riverside.
The Teessiders have plans to send some of their younger players out on loan to gain more first-team experience, while they may consider offers for some of their senior players.
Scroll down and flick through the pages of our picture gallery to see nine deals which could take place, both in and outgoings, before the deadline:
1. IN - Famara Diedhiou (Bristol City)
Boro have been tracking the forward, 28, in recent weeks, with his Bristol City contract set to expire in the summer. The Robins remain hopeful they can keep Diedhiou, who has been their top scorer for the last two seasons, so it may be a deal Boro revisit in the summer - if he's still available. Photo: Alex Burstow
2. OUT - Britt Assombalonga
Another player who will see his contract expire in the summer, and Warnock has made it clear the striker would have to take a wage cut to stay at the Riverside. There have been reports Boro could trade Assombalonga, 28, for Diedhiou, yet a swap deal is likely to prove tricky. If an offer does come in for Assombalonga, and the Teessiders can find a replacement, the forward may depart. Photo: Laurence Griffiths
3. IN - Kamil Grosicki (West Brom)
A player who has been linked with Boro before and still appears surplus to requirements at West Brom - despite a couple of appearances recently. The 32-year-old was close to joining Nottingham Forest during the last transfer window and is a proven Championship asset. Photo: Mike Hewitt
4. OUT - Patrick Roberts
It now seems unlikely that Roberts will be recalled by Manchester City, despite his lack of game time since rejoining Boro on loan in October. Warnock has challenged the player to stay at the Riverside and fight for his place and said last week there haven't been any enquiries for the 23-year-old. Photo: Getty Images
