Quest pundit hails Neil Warnock decision as Middlesbrough star Duncan Watmore shines
After signing a short-term deal at Boro following his release from Sunderland, Watmore has caught the eye of other Championship sides after scoring twice in yesterday’s 3-0 win over Millwall.
That took the 26-year-old’s tally to four goals in just six appearances for Warnock’s side.

The decision to sign Watmore in the summer has been praised by former striker turned pundit Dean Ashton.
“After having a bit of a wobble, it was a great start from Middlesbrough,” he said on Quest’s EFL highlights show. “And Duncan Watmore, I just think it was always gonna take a manager like Neil Warnock to take a chance on him.”
“He was an under-21 international with Jack Grealish, big things were thought of him and then horrible injuries hampered his career.”

On his performance against Millwall, Warnock said: “Duncan took his goals well. The second is one of a typical poacher.
“Good luck to him. He's a superb lad to work with.”
Upon making the move to Teesside, Watmore revealed he had rejected several offers from other clubs to link-up with Warnock back in November.
