1. (11th) Cristhian Stuani (from Espanyol - £2.8million)
The Uruguayan forward wasn't always a first-team regular at the Riverside but always came up with important goals. 2. (10th) Darren Randolph (from West Ham - £5million)
Many saw Randolph as the best goalkeeper in the Championship before his return to West Ham in January. 3. (9th) Dimi Konstantopoulos (from AEK Athens - free)
At one stage, the Greek shot-stopper was Boro's fourth-choice goalkeeper after joining the Teessiders on a short-term deal. 4. (8th) Patrick Bamford (from Chelsea - loan)
