Middlesbrough claimed a 1-0 win over Luton Town on an eventful night at the Riverside.
Chuba Akpom scored the only goal of the game shortly after half-time before James Collins saw a penalty disallowed for Luton and Sam Morsy was sent off for the hosts for handball.
The result moved Boro up to seventh in the Championship table.
