Middlesbrough recorded their third successive league win after a 2-0 victory over Cardiff - but who stood out for Michael Carrick’s side at the Riverside Stadium?
After a goalless first half, the hosts opened the scoring in the 56th minute when Lukas Engel’s low cross was converted by Isaiah Jones at the back post.
Boro then secured the points six minutes from time when Marcus Forss set up fellow substitute Emmanuel Latte Lath to score his second Championship goal.
Here’s how each Boro player fared at the Riverside Stadium:

5. Lukas Engel - 7
Had plenty of space to get forward from left-back and grew in confidence. Assisted the opening goal with a low cross for Jones. 7 Photo: Marc Atkins

6. Hayden Hackney - 6
Didn’t have much space to operate in against Cardiff’s compact midfield. Tried to break forward into more advanced positions as the hosts searched for an opener. 6 Photo: Getty Images

7. Dan Barlaser - 6
Dropped deeper to receive the ball of his side’s centre-backs and retain possession. Had a few moments where he was able to quicken the play. 6 Photo: Stu Forster

8. Riley McGree - 6
Found himself in some good attacking positions but lacked an end product here after scoring three in his previous two games. 6 Photo: Getty Images
