The summer window had been completely taken over by rumours surrounding the likes of Harry Kane leaving Spurs, Lionel Messi signing for PSG and Cristiano Ronaldo rejoining Manchester United.
It has been one of the craziest summers ever for rumours and big money moves, with Jack Grealish becoming the most expensive British signing as he joined Manchester City for £100 million.
This has meant a lot of signings have gone under the radar and we are here to make sure you don’t miss out.
Here are eight arrivals and departures from the second tier that you may not have spotted...

5. Ravel Morrison - Derby County
Derby County brought a large number of players on trial during the summer including Phil Jagielka, Tom Carroll and Richard Stearman. Some signed contracts with the club - despite their current troubles - and one of those was Ravel Morrison. The former Manchester United midfielder had been a free agent since his contract with Dutch club ADO Den Haag was terminated in January. Photo: Tony Marshall

6. Jordan Gabriel - Nottingham Forest to Blackpool
Blackpool's desperation to re-sign Jordan Gabriel was well documented throughout the summer, however you would be forgiven for thinking the deal never went through. The Seasiders had been trying to bring Gabriel back to the club for months and things had gone particularly quiet over the last week, but Neil Critchley managed to get his man on deadline day. 7. Cameron Jerome - Luton Town
At 35-years-old and following the expiry of his MK Dons' contract, it looked likely that Cameron Jerome would stay in the third or fourth tier - or perhaps go back abroad - as he got closer to retirement. However, an impressive season in Milton Keynes during the 20/21 campaign earned the striker a move back to the Championship and Luton Town snapped him up on a free. Photo: Pete Norton

8. Jonny Williams - Swindon Town
Despite being only 27-years-old, Jonny Williams seems to have struggled to impress in recent years - bar a good run with Charlton Athletic - and has been plagued with injuries. After a limited number of appearances with Cardiff, Williams was released in March. The midfielder was without a club for five months before joining League One side Swindon Town. Photo: Mike Hewitt
